Well since you can use any XGP box with an XGP port, you just need any laptop with an XGP port and whenever the new box with the 4870s come out or xfire 4870s you can get it.

Well I'm not sure what is really true and what isn't.
Is it a hardware or a firmware issue that you can't use the internal screen with the booster?
I heard there might be no further development through Fujitsu Siemens because the cooperation of Fuji and Siemens came to a hold or something like that. True or not?
Would be a shame if I bought the notebook but no further development was made...

Youre mixing up a couple issues. regardless of the XGP being able to perform cross display to the laptops own LCD, any XGP from any manufacturer can be put on any laptop with the XGP port.

AMD/ATI has developed the XGP technology and anyone can use it. Dell, HP, Asus, etc.....And maybe they will when cross dislpay works and then the XGP boxes will start coming out with new cards in them, and even if ASUS makes it, it will work on the Fujitsu. And in like 4 months AMD's exlusivity rights on the XGP port and cable runs out so that Intel can get the specs and put it on their laptops, and you know how people are much more inclined to make stuff with Intel cpus.

If Cross Display is your only concern, I would not buy right now, wait until a version of any laptop comes out that specifically says it works and is tested.

It is NOT a desktop card, not yet, maybe in the future. Its not even close to the size of a desktop card.

Hi every one! I am a new user here and is my first post... Well I am interesting to buy this one but only problem is that in our country Greece they bring only sa 3650-L version, which is coming with ZM-80 only. I would like to know if there is big different with ZM-82 or 84... and price is about 1150 Euro with GB... Now I have Pa 1510 about more than 2 years and want to change it for gaming mode and boost performance
