M6811 modem
I'm wondering what kind of modem is built into the M6811. According to the built-in drivers it's a PCI conexant. However, when I run the conexant listmodem utility the output is:
MODEM #1:
PCI CONFIGURATION INFORMATION READ:
VENDOR ID : 1106
DEVICE ID : 3068
SUBVENDOR ID : 161F
SUBDEVICE ID : 2032
REVISION ID : 80
DEDUCED INFORMATION:
VENDOR NAME : VIA
DEVICE NAME : VIA (AC '97 MODEM)
SUBVENDOR NAME : UNKNOWN
MODEM TYPE : UNKNOWN
WINXP INBUILD SUPPORT : NO
Where the 1106 vendor is not condidered to be conexant. The e4all site
http://www.e4allinc.info/dir1/motherboards/laptops/arima_W730_K8_downloads.htm
suggests SmartLink as modem. Who know the answer?

VIA produces the motherboard, and the modem is integrated into the motherboard.
