Atomicfungus - Connect the screen to the eGPU. Also, it may not be that much faster since the 9600GT isn't very fast and cannot use Optimus compression.

We've found some factory overclocked models are unable to hold those overclocks so need be set to run at a lower frequency.

    Looks like a 12V/18A.

Will try the MIS afterburner, any ideal range of values that i can follow ?
Or a random range will do.

    Thanks
Below is a screen-shot of MSI afterburner on gtx 560ti.
Which setting would be safe to tweak to run at a lower frequency?
    Any ideal range?

Still getting BSOD when i launch certain application.

    Thanks

Hey guys I'm sure someone has already answered this in here but I couldn't find it but has the Thunderbolt test proved PCIe 3.0 speeds?

I know Ivy Bridge makes it capable but is the cable itself capable? PCIe 2.0 x8 speeds would mean essentially no performance lag compared to x16. In most cases at least!

Really, really excited for Thunderbolt eGPU solutions! ViDock mentioned today on their Facebook that a review of their new chassis and Thunderbolt would be released soon.

Hi guys. I'm having a problem overcoming issues with error 12 and the setup-110b5 on my laptop and decided to sell my PE4L 1.5 kit bought from HIT a week ago. If anyone is interested, I am selling it for $50 shipped (within the US). Email me at Sunghwann@gmail.com if interested.

    Today my PE4L arrived
    I have the Lenovo x220 i5 2520m with 8 gb.
    Everything worked plug and play
I did the 3d mark 2006 benchmark with my ATI HD 4850 and got 10624 points.
Next week my 460 GTX will arrive. I am hoping that the performance will increase a bit then

    Why do you think so?

    Hi.
Is it still available to use a graphic card better than gtx560?
I can see a lot of people use gtx560 as eGPU. From this point, I wonder why they do not purchase better one and use, such as 570 or 580.

    I have a quick question.
    where is PCIe port 3#??
Most of laptops do not look like they have it, according to EVEREST or AIDA64

ok, i see. So i powered on laptop, waiting BIOS POST, then plugged Expresscard with P4EH already switched on : on laptop screen, i can see both IGP Intel HD Graphic and eGPU GTX 560Ti but there is this famous error 12 on eGPU
As i read, i have 2 options: purchased this DIY eGPU Setup software, or follow DSDT override procedure ?

What is the better way ?
