    Default Keyboard lockup

Whenever I use the multimedia buttons on the front of my Inspiron 6400, the keyboard locks up. I've reinstalled the audio drivers and quickset. In fact, just about every driver, to no avail. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?

thats odd,has it always done that? are you using a factory install? two options, the best being a format and clean install, the other would be trying the recovery partition

Hmm...I would definitely try formatting it too. Sounds kinda weird, but who knows most of the buttons on the computers are now based with softwares.

Started a couple of days ago. I've emailed Dell. Not sure what they'll say though.
