    I'll tell you my bad experience: bought a Dell L502x from the outlet. It was "certified refurbished", not scratch & dent. When I got it, it was dirty. Crumbs and fingerprints everywhere, looked like it had not been cleaned at all. The computer itself was a complete lemon, would turn on and then shut off before it could fully start up. Complete garbage.

    However, my dad bought a Dell L501x from the Outlet and it was in great shape. It's a bit of gamble, but I think I did just get unlucky.
