Cleaning the fan
I have an inspiron 15R N5010 and was gonna clean it using compressed air but I don't know how to get to the fan. If someone could explain to me how I'm supposed to do it?

Re: Cleaning the fan
so i guess your question really is about how to access inside right?
if you go to dell.com/manuals or soemthing like that in the support website, they basically have basic spec sheets and manuals for all models.
for the recent models of course, they will have detailed instructions in how to disassemble/replace every part in your laptop. I think it is called service manual or soemthing like that.
so just go to the support site where you see the list of manuals for YOUR model, and one of them will be that guide.

Re: Cleaning the fan
You don't really have to take anything apart to clean out the fan. Just blow out the vents.

Re: Cleaning the fan
Most of the time you can get the dust out simply by pushing air through the vents, but if you've put off normal dusting long enough, you could have lumps of dust that won't come out. In such cases, disassembly is generally your only option.
