Unfortunately, there is no fix for that MediaDirect works only with WMP and Cyberlink PowerDVD/Cineplayer. I've tried to find away around it, but it looks like you'll have to use WMP if you are using MediaDirect.

In XP, you can choose whatever you want to play your music. When you press the MD button, you'll still be forced to use WMP though.

    Holy Thread Resurrection Batman!!!!!

    Yeah I know!!!

I thought I would give this thread a little bumpity bump for those who cant find the search button and are also to afraid to ask.

I just installed this with iTunes 7 on my E1505 running media center and it works great. Make sure to select mode 2 and it works perfectly.

Thanks SG for the great find.
Dell E1505 with Carbon Fiber Snap Cover - Cause carbon fiber like speeds up your processor by like a bunch and stuff.

On this subject, does anyone know if you can get the media buttons to work with Napster when it is minimized?

All you need is this file in your plug-ins directory: http://www.hostfile.org/mmKeys.dll

In Vista, the directory is: C:\Users\\appdata\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iTunes Plug-ins

    This works with iTunes 7.6.
