Well, you gotta admit you do pay for the design mainly, it's not aimed at the gamers market :P.
Also, aluminium for the entire case can be quite expensive too.

This is ridiculous: I happen to not mind paying a premium for an exceptional machine, but 2600 bucks for these anemic specs? Low resolution, no graphics, slow processor? They got to be kidding! Other than a pretty design this thing has absolutely nothing going for it. Even the year-old design of the Macbook Air can probably run circles around this laptop. Too bad, it would have been nice to see a competitor to Apple's product in this area, but this Adamo certainly is not it.
Forget it, I'm not interested. There's some designers at Dell they should consider firing...

Nonsense; that case probably comes at about the same cost as their standard case, once you figure in the quicker assembly. At most, that case may add a 50 bucks premium over simpler designs. Originally Posted by colin002
