    Default vostro 1500 dvd burner

    is there any way to tell what brand dvd burner my dell vostro 1500 has??

    id like to update the drivers bu the dell drivers theres like 7 brands of them to choose from. so i have no way of knowing which driver to download?

    Go into Control Panel>System>Device Manager>DVD/CD-Rom Drives.
    It will tell you which model you have.
