Overclocked my Dell 8600m GT - Results
I'm running a Dell 1720 Inspiron.
I progressively went from 475-675 for the core, and 400-525 for the memory.
On a 675/525 OC, I got 3849 in 3dMark06 with a max temp of 69 degrees.
After playing a good solid 2 hours of Crysis, I didnt go higher than 72 degrees.
All this without any snow, artifacts, or freezing.
How was that?

By the way, I'm using the 175.75 driver (the latest driver), using Rivatuner.

OC it even more! Lol. I ordered the M1530, and I am expecting a higher OC than your 8600M GT.

3849? That's a good 500 marks LESS than my Non-Overclock 8600M GT GDDR3.
With OC to 665/905, I get 6055.XPS M1330

Re: Overclocked my Dell 8600m GT - Results
I probably will in a little bit, but I feel awkward maxing the tabs for the core and memory using Rivatuner. It goes up to 715/600, respectively.

that 3849 seems low, unless you ran it at a high resolution. i got 3600 even stock clocks.

Re: Overclocked my Dell 8600m GT - Results
not sure. i can't remember what i ran mine at i think it 1200x800, if not that, then 1024x768. i prolly could've done a little better too without oc'ing, i just wanted a ballpark figure. imo, a synthetic benchmark has very little use.

Re: Overclocked my Dell 8600m GT - Results
hes running DDR2 memory, which starts out lower then the 700mhz for DDR3 of the m1530. So of course you guys will always blow him away in your stock configs.
