Manufacturing Plants of DELL

I dont know if such a thread already exists here and if so it may be locked.... Anyway I wanted to know out of curiosity that at which places DELL has manufacturing plants.... I know one exists in Malaysia and some three or four in parts of America.... Can you list them all here in this thread.... This would be quite informative to know....

Just to clarify, the actual manufacturing plants where the systems are initially built are not owned by Dell. For example, those systems built in Malaysia are built alongside lenovo, Acer, Apple and HP laptops. All the laptops are manufactured in the same facility with very little differecne in many parts.

A good example is the motherboard which is exactly the same amongst differing manufacturers except for the company stamp being put on ther part either through hardware or software.

As for Dell, once the systems are built (in Malaysia in my case), the bare bones system is then sent to Texas where they have OSD imaging, software, final inspection and boxing...

btw, the factory in China serves the Asia-pacific region.
Ireland plant serves the European market IIRC. Rest are assembled (laptops) in Malaysia.

That's not entirely true. Dell Malaysia only assembles Dell products.
