    has anyone bought a Vostro from Dell refurb yet? how good are they?

    I was also planning on going down the Vostro route. Ive never heard of complaints from people that have purchased a laptop from the Dell Outlet. So I would say go for it if you find a good deal!

    mine was a scratch and dent - i cant seem to find any damage, though i have a dead pixel so it could be down to that.

    i had a look at the outlet store the other day and it seems like the vostro new is only 80 bucks or so more

    I bought a Scratch and Dent and checked all over the thing when it got in. I couldn't see anything wrong with it, whatever it was they must have replaced it. It's worked great and was really cheap.
    Vostro 1500:
    T7500
    8600M GT
    2GB RAM (from Frys)
    Vista Basic (Reinstalled with Ultimate)
