That first picture will shutup all those people still saying that SEC is Seiko and not Samsung (read earlier posts in this thread)

I rang back to try again but apparently now that I've requested a refund there's nothing that can be done. Oh well, hopefully this shortage of glass will have been resolved by December/January and I'll place a new order then.

For those who can't see what it says on the box due to the flash, it's

I think Datr has unfortunately been feed some complete BS.

If I were you Datr I would try and cancel the refund and make Dell fix the issue. I would also lodge a complaint because they seem to be stuffing you around bigtime compared to how they have treated me and others.

That LGP does not mean it is an LG screen.... LPL = LG Philips for the LG screen whereas LGP stands for Light Guide Plate....

Ash Hi Fi Zone is correct.

The only part of that information which identifies that the part is an LG screen is the part number XK309. And the only way we know that that particular part number corresponds with an LG WSXGA+ display is from experience.

i'm not saying it is, i'm just posting what it says on the box. The screen i received is an LG Philips, identified by the sticker on the rear of the screen which i forgot to take a pic of, and Dell's part number for the LG Philips WSXGA+ (XK309). My device manager identifies it as LPLF300. For those requesting for a swap, do provide them the part number and they should be able to help you out a lot easier. The XK309 has been verified by the technical department when i requested it. I said I know the part number for screen, and it matches. dang, how can be so careless and forget to take a pic of the LG sticker on the rear of the panel?? LOL, i did see it before the tech guy installed it.
