Any way to connect a Vostro 1500 to a TV?
Like, HDMI or anything?
I want to be able to play games through my TV sometime if it's possible, also, getting HD movies and playing them on the TV would kick .

Re: Any way to connect a Vostro 1500 to a TV?
use the VGA, both of my HDTVs have HDMI and VGA connectors. I don't see any difference in picture quality between the two.

Most TV's also have an s-video input; I usually use the s-video input when I hook my lappy to a TV.

Re: Any way to connect a Vostro 1500 to a TV?
Yeah VGA is much better but VGA to component adaptors are a pretty expensive because they need some powered active device to actually do such kind of conversion....
It is better to get a S-Video to Component cable from DELL which also outputs SPDIF in the same adaptor.... So you can watch your video as well as get 5.1 audio too on your TV
