The task manager shows 62 processes running. Will try to get them down tonight and tomorrow. Have to read some of the other threads first. Oh yeah, what's SQL Server service Manager?
Thanks to hbomb for some suggestions on configuration.

Re: ->The official POST ABOUT YOUR NEW DELL NOTEBOOK thread.<-
Hello everyone, I've been furiously browsing through these forums for the past 2 weeks to alleviate the tension that built up while waiting for my notebook, but here's my first post.
Ordered my 6400/e1505 on the 17th of Sept and just got the tracking info today. Just hoping it will be delivered by Purolator right on Thursday, when I'm available to recieve it. On Wednesday and Friday I wont be available till late in the evening. But what are the chances of it being Thursday...
Specs of my very first notebook:
Intel® Core 2 Duo processor T7400 (4MB Cache/2.16GHz/667MHz FSB)
15.4 inch Wide Screen XGA Display with TrueLife
2GB Shared DDR2 SDRAM (free upgrade)
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950 (Only games I'll prolly be playing are StarCraft, Halo CE, and some early version of UT)
120GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive
Genuine Windows® XP Home
Integrated 10/100 Network Card and Modem
8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer DVD+R write capability
Integrated Audio
Dell Wireless 1390 802.11g Mini Card (54Mbps)
No productivity suite- Includes Microsoft Works 8. DOES NOT INCLUDE MS WORD (Will replace with my own copy of Office)
McAfee Security Center w/ VirusScan, Firewall and Privacy, 90-day trial (I have a non-trial version on hand)
85 WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
And the obligatory crapware.
I just can't wait for the moment I get this notebook and start decrapifying it and messing around with it. Just hope there are no unfortunate screwups with with the 6400.

Re: ->The official POST ABOUT YOUR NEW DELL NOTEBOOK thread.<-
ok, finally got my inspiron 6400 after 6 days shipping. it's a core2duo,7400 2.16x2, x1400, 1gig, 1500wireless N, the rest is pretty standard I guess.
what do I think? As far as design goes, not overly impressed. I think I like the looks of the acer with the x1600 and built in cam and mic. This thing gets warmer than I expected. Also, on the bottom, the microsoft certificate of authenticity has a hole about the size of a penny in the middle. It looks like it may have melted or like someone rubbed in hard for a long time (not possible unless they sent me a used comp!) If it was heat, pretty scary to think it melted a hole in the sticker. h
Havent played any games yet, spent too long trying to update the ati driver, big tip is to use the mobility version you cant find on ati.com. simple if you get the right driver obviously.
time to put it through its paces before i have to go to bed for work tomorrow.
