Dell Inspiron 1520 Integrated webcam

Hello everyone,

I got an integrated web-camera on my 1520 and I don't see it on the list of installed hardware to record video - I mean it works but I cannot use it on youtube for example, while my Logitech (external USB) webcam works fine

Is there any way to actually make my integrated camera do what it supposed to do: be my primary webcam everywhere?

Does Youtube have an integrated webcam streaming recorder or something?

I can take video with mine and upload it to youtube no problem

Hello everyone,

First of all, I want to let you know that I've tried searching the forum many times but I Hate the fact that the keywords I enter get automatically separated and I find threads that have NOTHING TO DO with what I am looking for - I really find it stupid,

Like many other forums, if you use quotation marks around the search phrase (example: search "integrated web cam"), it will seek out the phrase as well as each individual word

My problem is that SKYPE doesn't detect my integrated webcam. Any advise, please. thanks.
