Dell Vostro is here!!!

i'm really interested in how the Vostro line is in any way better than the Inspiron line with regards to quality - they both seem to be using the same chassis and shell (which i assume is plastic). how could it be that much different?

From all accounts, the Vostro and Inspiron lines were supposed to be identical in every way except the all black finish on the Vostros. I doubt anything has changed regarding this.

With the specs I have the 1520 is actually cheaper. Plus, the Vostros 1500 doesn't even have a 1440x900 display option.

From what I understand, 1 ram module is under the keyboard and the other is at the normal spot on the bottom.

THat's kinda complicated; when they ship the 1 gig it's usually two sticks of 520 right? So I'd have to replace both?

i think im just going to get one 2gb stick for $105 from newegg. i dont want to take out the keyboard
