    Default Studio XPS 1647 Hinge Problem

    I have a hinge problem in Dell Studio XPS 1647 and the screen is a bit shaky. Can anybody help me how and where I would find these nuts to tighten them to overcome this problem.

    I had a similar thing with my 1640, I tried tightening the hinges, but it appears to be a design fault as it was the metal inside the display that was flexing.

    I had my hinge replaced on my XPS1702 after a month of owning it. It would make a cracking noise when opening and would not close all the way. Sometimes they are defective and has to be replaced.
