Re: New XPS 14
gah, just ordered an XPS 13 from Dell Outlet this week (actually being delivered today), then I see this news. Now I have a difficult decision to make.
Anyone know if the XPS "hassle free" 21 day return window they're advertising on Dell's site applies to XPS's bought off the Outlet site? I know there's still a 21 day return period for those, but the hassle free ad assures there's no restocking fee.

As a long time XPS m1530 user I'd love another 15" XPS. I game a lot on mine, but still like the style and footprint of the m1530. I ordered a sager np9130 and returned it for a np9150 because I couldn't stand the keyboard. If I don't like the 9150 I am really considering this as an option. I know it's a step down in performance, but not by too much. The sager footprint is MUCH bigger then the m1530 but I could deal with it.
Also considering an MSI GE60, envy 15, Samsung 9 (gaming variant) but I'd love to stick with dell. You can't bet the zero 0% financing for the year to pay off the laptop can upgrade to higher options much easier this way and I got the 4 year xps service program for like 200 and it paid for its self 4-5 times.
I hope this new XPS comes out with HD 1080p matte screen, 640m or better GPU, fingerprint reader, upgradable to my SSD, atleast 8gb ram, doesn't have a number pad, and can actually stay cool. My m1530 would get damn hot there for a while.

Last XPS had a reader that I still use. It's a great piece of tech and starting to become more and more in demand. Swapping your finger for any password secured website, windows login or what ever is nice to have.

I saw that thread where bill mentioned that and that's what I'm hoping for with the finger print reader.

Re: New XPS 14
Some people have been getting a little testy about the wait. Just figured I'd repost that since Bill doesn't visit this thread. I just hope he's not a compulsive gambler.
From everything I hear, the XPS sounds like it will be one of the best options on the market. I got my fingers crossed.
Long live WMC! Taking the power back from TWC
