Re: New Dell XPS L521X (Ivy Bridge)
Will we be seeing much of a price difference from the currents XPS line?

Re: New Dell XPS L521X (Ivy Bridge)
hey bill, I like how you talked about the envy cause I am also considering envy vs the xps. Can you tell us anything about the gpu comparision vs the envy? I understand the xps line is going to be thin, but is it going to be lightweight compared to envy? I think the decision is going to come down b/w if i want the greater gpu vs thinner(maybe ligher) comp. thanks again

Re: New Dell XPS L521X (Ivy Bridge)
Final pricing not set, but it will be similar to the current XPSs' launch prices, more than the current prices, I'm sure.
I will have to look up our GPU's to give you a sort of an idea. I can't really spell it out, but I can vaguely make some sort of comparative statement. I would imagine our 14 will be lighter than their 14, and the 15 will be close. I'd guess we'll be technically a bit lighter since we've had time to see theirs. Just a guess. Nothing I've read anywhere.

Bill am I going crazy or did you say in an earlier post for us to look for an 'exciting' announcement today? All I could see was some info on you putting Ivy into desktops but that aint that exciting :P

Re: New Dell XPS L521X (Ivy Bridge)
Huh, I am seeing ivy bridge in an Inspiron 15R... also with a full hd screen... on dell.co.nz. Kind of interesting and worth my first post? (ok a little off thread topic) Is this common knowledge and I have missed it?
I assume there are no reviews around of this little unit just yet. Hmmm.
