Re: New Dell XPS L521X (Ivy Bridge)
Dell revealed Alienware 14" with updated parts, XPS15 will have less powerful gpu probably 630M or 640M but may have mSATA port and RAID0 and 16GB of ram. I think because of Alienware the spec of new XPS15 will be average. Even Lenovo who don't do high spec systems will have Y580 with 660M graphics.

Re: New Dell XPS L521X (Ivy Bridge)
Based on leaked specs, we're expecting a .95" thick laptop with 1080p, the GT 640m w/ GDDR5, and the i7-3612QM.

Re: Considering replace my SXPS 16 with XPS L521X although it not comes yet
I'm not familiar with the Studio XPS 16, but the current XPS 15 has very good color gamut (95% AdobeRBG) as it uses a B+GR LED backlight and one of the best 15.6" TN panels. The XPS 15z (55.8% AdobeRBG, a bit under sRBG coverage) is nothing special.
The leaked specs for the XPS L521X state that we're getting a W-LED backlight, so I'd expect gamut similar to the XPS 15z's or hopefully a bit better for full sRGB coverage.

The ultrabook processors aren't out yet, but the i7-3612QM was released which is rumored to be an option in the L521X.

Search Google "Intel Ivy Bridge Released" or "Intel Launched Ivy Bridge" you will find many news today. Look like Ivy Bridge has been launched.
There are also news for Ivy Bridge launch party too.
