Restore Dell XPS to factory settings
Hi, I recently installed a clean OS on my Dell XPS 15 L502 due to finding the pre-installed OS to be bloated with crappy software. But now I would like the pre-installed OS back... I've read the manual but when I go to the restore menu (F8) , there's no Dell restore button. Any solutions?

Re: Restore Dell XPS to factory settings
probably not.. when you did a fresh installed you wiped out the ghost
partition that had the factory restore image.

Re: Restore Dell XPS to factory settings
Well, under Disk Management, the restore partition is still there... Anyway of using it? (But I can't access it via My Computer?)
I want it back because it is so much easier to use and less driver hassle. My XPS is functioning as well as it was before.

Re: Restore Dell XPS to factory settings
You will need the restore disks you should have made via datasafe. Failing that it will require the install disk that you can purchase at point of sale, or request one from Dell for a small cost.
