6770m runs very cooler than gt 555 m even for hours amd has a good rep for that.

for 1080p there are still no benches as hp ships them with either 768p or 900p i will try to collect it if they can hook it up via ext monitor.

can u please bench the following games please

    AvP 2010
    COD MW2
    BFBC2
    Lost Planet 2
    Crysis 2
    Bulletstorm
    Mafia 2
please use as maxed out settings u can to get avg 25 to 35 fps

i will also req the 6770m guy to do the same.

Man you compare gddr 3 video vs gddr5.First i would say that the competition is lost due to waay faster gddr 5.But from what i see gt 555 proved to be a kick GPU despite slower memory. And the fact that the games run on FHD This is very good peace of hardware.I want to see ATI on FHD

Right...FHD is the only thing for me,because I have the 3D-Display.Nvidea is very good in higher resolutions.

@Riddhy916:You told me the card is so much cooler?Dates under high gaming settings?

And about the 6770 overall...thatīs not a "555M vs 6770 thread"..I started this only for 555M users for overclocking. So why I need to run all this game-benchmarks for this "cardfight"?You understand?

    If you like it,please start a "555M vs 6770"thread.You donīt have the 6770-card yourself,right?

Crysis 2 FHD "Very High" and VSYNC on...after one hour playing:

@Riddhy 916:The benchs for the 66770 are looking great. But how much overclocking potential has this card? The GT555M runs very cool on very high overclocked settings and that for hours in really heavy games like Crysis 1 and 2.
I'm quite happy with my GPU, and overclocking it is even better Thanks to kroenen04, I don't care what they compare it to it's awesome in my opinion, I'm glad I chose it.

After seeing your post I decided to OC mine via Afterburner (Just to check it out), if you can do it so can I ! ! ! ! After that I installed the beta drivers and I'm loving this GPU.

I probably wouldn't have OC'd it if I didn't see this post, so to kroenen04 I appreciate the tip and settings you provided.

Compare somewhere else, this thread is all about the 555M!

Added rep to kroenen04, Thanks Again.

Also I received an added bonus from this thread, #1 OC'ing this Card, #2 The beta drivers. and #3 my POS runs cooler than it did when I received it,
it was running in the low to mid 50's under light use for CPU temps, now after all the GPU testing I run in the mid to high 40's.

Maybe I just got the CPU /GPU paste working!

Thanks for that.Iīm very happy, when I can help someone with my OC-Settings.Other members of this board helped me a lot with my older 445M and the OC overall, before. So,thanks again to "DaneGRClose" and "RoosterRed"for the OC-infos and their patience.

Thanks to those two for helping you help me!

Question, how can I display FPS, GPU Temps ect, in Crysis 2 like in your screen shot?

That is very easy...go on "settings"in the afterburner, then on "monitoring"...and set it like mine in the pic below...but the afterburner must be open in the backround, when you wanna start a game with the display:

Thanks, I wanted to monitor temps while playing, that did the trick.

No problem...it would be interesting to see how much your temps are, when playing crysis 2.
