    Hi...

I'd like to do this to my laptop as I assume it improves performance? Where can I get the update from, and how do I go about it?

    All/any help appreciated

    TIA,

    Mark.

    Hi...

    I just paid Ł780 including VAT and delivery from the Dell Outlet for the following;

    XPS L702x
System Color - Silver Anodized Aluminum
Intel Core i7-2670QM (2.20 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.10 GHz)
    Windows 7 Home Premium
8 GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz (2 DIMMs)
750 GB SATA Hard Drive (7200RPM)
Blu-ray Disc BD-Combo (Reads BD and Writes to DVD/CD)
17.3in Full HD WLED AG (1920x1080) with 2.0 Mega Pixel Integrated Camera
3GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M Graphics Card
Internal DVB-T TV Tuner, No External Antenna
Network Interface Card Wireless: Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 (2x2 b/g/+ Bluetooth Combo Card)
    Battery : Primary 9-cell 90W/HR LI-ION

Did I get a good deal?

I am concerned that some on this thread weren't happy with the laptop they received from the Outlet and ended up sending it back. Others received faulty laptops which were replaced with brand new systems! - so I am unsure as to whether I am or am not doing the right thing buying from the Dell Outlet?

    What do you guys think?

I have a few questions though, firstly the touchpad, how can i get it to scroll up/down in a browser? my last one would let me scroll by sliding my finger along the right edge of the touchpad but this one doesn't do anything.

Also, what would be the top 5 important updates/maintenence things i should do straight away?
So far i've updated everything the Dell Update program has reccomended and i then updated the system using the Windows Update program.

Should i update the BIOS? not sure how to do that!

    Hi...

What did you do in order to get the brand new laptop - just curious in case the one I have ordered is bogus.

    TIA,

    Mark.
