I think I heard the beeps also when I flashed to A10. It is probably to make people nervous :-)

Well after delving into HP and dealing with the "dynamic switching" on the 6770M I have come back to Dell.... the $520 in coupons was too tempting to pass it up plus I didn't feel like waiting for AMD/HP to fix their freakin card. $1,679.99 for $1,159.99

Did the best I could, with a varition of normal browsers screen comparisions, and some backgrounds with as much colour variation I could find ! No colour calibration completed, stock settings.

Taken without flash, in a strip lighted room. Screen brightness was set to full. Having both side by side, I would class the 1080p AG screen on the L702x as showing 'cool' colours. Looking at the l502x 1080p screen, the whites almost had a shade of yellow to it. Anyways I'm not sure how much you can tell with these, but hopefully of interested to some ! I really do like this matte screen, and I'm sure I can improve things with a bit of calibration - it's the Che Mie model , or something like that on my one

    cheers

The L702x 3D display is VERY blue out of the box. I applied a color profile someone posted in the L702x thread and now the screen is perfection.

So I just installed a OCZ Agility 3 in my laptop. During installation I tried to install the SATA II/III drivers in the guide posted earlier. When I try and install it says I do not meet the minimum requirements. Device manager shows everything installed correctly. Any ideas?

Curious - how is how is everyone's backlight on their KB? When I used to have one - it was pretty low. Now my wife needs a new laptop and I am thinking about this one.

Hm, tried those profiles and can't really say anything good about them. Now colors aren't so blue, but they became green and overall brightness seems to be dull. It's better to perform manual calibration instead using profiles for me.
