    - Another thing, Nvidia drivers, the originall setup was for some reason not "including" PhysX... I have formated the laptop, did clean install, and was trying to instal 270.51 drivers, BUT after chosing between custom, and fast, and hitting NEXT button, it says Instalation Failed

Get the cheapest wireless card dell offers. Then go out and buy your own Centrino Ultimate N 6300 (mini pci-e). this card is a 3x3 design, up to 450mbs. Although this card DOES NOT HAVE BLUETOOTH. you dont need it, a mini usb bluetooth adaptor costs less than $10 now-a-days

The N6300 might not be fitting for the XPS 17 as I could not see the third wire for the card though.

Well, I've had had enough of the N1030 card. I am going to replace the N1030 with the N6230 card in these few days.

As said above, the 6300 is designed for three antennas and the XPS has only two (apart from the config with mobile broadband card, where Dell provides a full set of antennas), so I believe it will work only as good as the 6200/6230.

Also your current router supports 802.11b and 802.11g, but not 802.11n and more importantly it only supports 2.4GHz (while 5GHz is available for 802.11n standard), so you won't profit from a dual-band wireless card. But then again you said you'll rather use WiFi outside your house, so your router shouldn't be concerned.

Is it confirmed the 6230 is EOL or is it just temporarily unavailable? I wonder if Dell comes up with a replacement, provided there will be an alternative to the 1000/1030.

The 6230 is not EOL. I just ordered a few systems from the US web site with this card and all seems fine (so far)...

Does anyone have any setup config to help with the somewhat cold feel of the screen....
Look in the L701x thread for color profiles. I am using one with "2ndCalibration" or so in the name (I am not in that computer right now). It is a HUGE improvement in color and even some contrast and removes the default blue tint.
