Hi Peterson, the clable was delivered to me yesterday, i'm now seeing for a seller to order B156HW01 V4 or V7 but i want the original and not a compatible one.

Try emailing Helen: helen@twscreen.com. They look like a serious and specialized company from Taiwan and they sell the B156HW01 V.7 model (the original glossy one from Dell). She did even send me a picture of the screen with the label that stated the part number.

They accept payments by wire-transfer or western union (165 USD including shipping to Colombia). I'm gonna place my order on monday if everything's ok.

Yea i did it a few days ago, i asked her for the screen cost shipped to spain but she doesn't reply me for now, i'm still waiting. I asked other sellers too and they send compatible one or they didn't have in stock.

Hi all,

For anyone looking to upgrade their screen and obtain th FHD cable, I can confirm I can now get hold of both. This is the exact same cable that Dell use.

I am based in the UK, so this might satisfy European forum members more, although if guys in the US want to get in touch, that's no problem.

*Update*: Helen sent me the proforma invoice and I proceeded the same day to wire the money via western-union. Now she just gave me the tracking number a few minutes ago. The ribbon cable is also on its way
