Default Studio XPS 1640 Windows 7 Media Buttons

Hey All, could you a little help here, i recieved my 1640 wiped it installed Windows 7, did the driver updates and everything works great. The problem Im having is none of my media button, volume up/down mute, etc... on the top work. I did install Quickset, no luck. Anyone have any ideas, i remember on my 1530 I have to install Media Direct or something like that.

Thanks

P.s. Windows 7 Build 7077

I'm trying to find more info as well. All my hotkeys work except for eject. If I find any resolution, I'll post a reply.

Most likely, you just have to wait for a Windows 7 version of QuickSet.

These are the reasons I don't install prerelease software.

I have 7 RC and all of my media buttons work fine. Did you install your drivers /software in the order shown on the Dell website?

Mine all work fine also. I just did a CLEAN install of Windows 7 RC1 (7100), did a Windows update, and everything is working spiffy!

No, rather I did a fresh, somewhat clean install of Win 7, that I mean I only formatted C partition, leaving recovery intact. Then a windows update. All hot keys except button work as previousin Vista 64.

I have a 1340 and QuickSet works fine in Windows 7 x64. You guys don't have any ISO mounting software, do you? If you do, make sure that isn't the first optical drive in the letter order, as the "soft" eject key will eject the first optical drive, and not necessarily the first physical one.
