    I'm in the UK and I'm pretty sure you can't get the white one here.

    I have the white one and it's definitely glossy.

    I actually bought my m1330 as a matte black, but when I broke a hinge I had to replace the lid. The cheapest way was to order it from Ebay, and browsing around I found the Alpine white from US. So if you really want a white one, you can buy it as a spare part...

    I just broke my hinge on my laptop too and they are sending a replacement black panel. I think I might just order a white one and keep the black one as backup.
