Xps m1530
I just bought my xps and its been fine for 3 days, but recently its been making this high pitch noise and im not sure what its from. Anybody know or had something like this happen to them?

Did you get a 7200rpm hard drive? Those sometimes make high pitched scratching or squeaking noises.

nope, i have the 5400 rpm, its like this high pitch whine and its really bothering me!

Although I haven't had this myself, I have read that it might be CPU whine.
Try a search about this for a remedy.
