    Default Games on your M1730......

Just wondering which games you are currently running on your M1730...

At the moment I have 2 games installed - COD4 and UT3. To be honest Im probably going to sell both. I dont game online very often, so UT3 is getting boring since its really made for multiplayer rather then single player campaign. COD4 is an awesome game, campaign is excellent, but after about 30mins play it starts giving me a headache!!!

I did have Gears of War installed, since thats my current fav game, but it was a little jerky at times, so I sold it.

Anyways, Im expecting my 8800GTX at the end of this month so Ive been downloading some demo's of games Im interested in. Im definately gonna buy Gears of War again since that should run nice on the 8800 SLI, but Ive downloaded the following Demos, and if I like em I'll buy the full games...

    Crysis
    Bioshock
    NFS Most Wanted
    NFS Pro Street
    DIRT
    Company of Heroes

So, Im just wondering which games you're currently playing, and what you're planning on buying, for your M1730.....

Jesus man.. Keep Gears of war!!!! i played all the new ones and the most one i liked is it! it works perfectly on dual 7950GTX with no stutter.. so i think its gonna be more than perfect on SLI 8800GTX :P, also dont bother with Crysis it doesnt have a plot or story line, i'd say get Bioshock but dont update it, it was something different than other games for me , also if you want to get a NFS, dont get prostreet, its very lame with no free raoming,mm maybe get yourself a long term RPG since you dont seem like a guy who buys a bunch of games

Yeh I'll defo be getting Gears again.

You've made me think twice about Crysis now though, I'll check out the demo and see how I feel.

Im waiting for Assassins Creed as well, hopefully that will run nice also. Ive played through Gears and Assassins Creed on my XBox 360, but Ive sold the 360 now, so I wanna get en on my lappy instead!

Btw, have you heard that assassin's Creed version for PC is going to be Assassin’s Creed: Director’s Cut Edition. 4 new missions!!! PC platform still rules! Yeah, i`m waiting for this game for a year and a half now, and i hate consoles, so can't wait till 15th of feb, when it comes out. Also would suggest you get Devil May Cry 4, which is already out....the best slasher ever Well, and the rest of my list for new M1730 is priety much same as everyone else's. Crysis, NFS Prostreet(i`m just fan of NFS), COD4, UT3 and Gears of War. Also would recommend Lost Planet. Was trying to run its demo on my friends lap top with Radeon HD2600, which was like a slideshow But game seemed to be very nice....very good graphics as well...

I play that game too with UT3. COD4 will probably be the game i get next. I loved the demo, but my old laptop (not the one in my sig) couldn't really handle it

I dont know why Gears was a little jerky TBH. COD4 runs perfect, all settings high, as does UT3. Gears ran at around 40FPS, but every few seconds it would jerk, as though it was loading somet, I dunno why. However, I dont use LV2G drivers, since I have the BD Drive and many drivers from there are not WHQL Certified - so maybe the more recent drivers from there would have helped it.

Im hoping the dual 8800's will really make it shine

Apparently Assassins Creed is just as, or manybe a little, more demanding then Crysis!!
Its recommended spec should still be do-able on top spec M1730's, and its recommended you have 3GB of RAM!!! lol
