I was just about ready to pull the trigger on one from dell and it is the
t9500 isn't this it? or no?

There was a recent review of a T8100 equipped Toshiba which was praised for it's gaming performance by Laptopmag.com. I think all of these processors will provide good performance.

No, I have not purchased from this fellow, but I think Duffy has. He accepts PayPal. I backed off after I verified that all these are engineering samples. Good price for a T9500 though. I think someone was selling a NIB (retail) variant of the T9300 in B/S/T for $300 and some change.

My M1330 runs a lot hotter than I like so I would have loved to have moved to .45nm and the extra performance boost doesn't hurt either. Oh well, I guess I will wait for Montevina.

I purchased mine here:

http://www.grassrootscomputers.com/I...id-348869.html

It arrived next day and i installed it into my Sony Vaio AR570. Works great and definetly runs cooler. No bios update needed either... swap-n-play.

the cpu doesnt wine, its the cooling fan on it that whines

as for the penryn chips they will be available everywhere for retail at the end of the month. Im gonna drop a 2.5ghz in my m1530 when it releases. It is something like $350. I was gonna wait to order my m1530 when it came out but the only difference is the processor. So it is actually cheaper to sell my current processor and buy this.
