dell xps m1330, problems, you?
under my hardware id, it say MONITOR\LCD2306
does this mean that I has the ccfl or the led?
second problem, my platform of m1330 doesnt sit fully onto the desk, it wobbles at the base platform, meaning that the bottom is twisted slightly (not fully flat)
anyone comment else? thanks

Absolutely no design flaws with mine. Just the CPU whine and the dual array mic problem. Where did you find your manufacturer for the LCD? Mine says AOU or something, i have a CCFL

LCD2306 is believed to be a Toshiba LED display (as opposed to be a Chi Mei LED display which would have "CMO" in the ID).
This is based on one of the users who disassembled his display!Bit of a Dell fan

Go hear and fillout poll pls... You will find helpful advise there as well.
Dell M1330 Condition Received Thread...and Poll
Can I ask anyone who has not done so to complete it. It can be a very useful tool for your later dealings with XPS Support on issues.
At present, only 1 in 5 systems is arriving without issues and only half do not have a squeal to them.
Thanks again.

Re: dell xps m1330, problems, you?
LCD2306 should be a Toshiba LED screen, at least it is on mine when I took it out, but I can't guarantee it is on urs. Who knows, maybe dell assigned the same code to different LED screens coming from different manufacturers, if they did it for Toshiba, who is to say they can't do it for other manufacturers
As for the wobblin, complain to tech support, they'll send out a guy to fix it
