How do you view specific production stages from Dell Canada?
On dell.ca my status just says in production. I called that automated status number but my order number wasnt found (probably doesn't work in Canada). So does anyone know of any way to accurately track Canadian Dell orders?

Re: How do you view specific production stages from Dell Canada?
I'm not sure, I'm living in Canada too. I think that you may be able to through "My Account" on the Dell Canada webpage. However, I am not sure about that. While I can check my order status by clicking the links on an e-mail Dell Canada sent me, I cannot view any of my orders in "My Account".
If anyone knows anything on this subject, please keep us updated.
Thanks.

Re: How do you view specific production stages from Dell Canada?
If you have established your own account with Dell, the 'My Orders' tab is updated almost instantly, concurrent to what happens in each process.
If you follow the "My Status" page, it only updates at about 9 in the morning and sometimes at 5 pm at night...note 'sometimes'
It also is not known to be accurate as some shipments just arrived while the status still said 'in production'
If you just placed an order, typically it will show up on the 'my orders' page before the 'my status page. There is a caveat however that, it may take up to 48 business hours after being input..
Hope this helps.
Oh and to see your status in 'My Orders' you must click on the 'Order Status' button below which will then pull it in; did with mine anyway.Last edited by Les; 4th August 2007 at 01:24 PM.

Chat with a CS rep online or over phone and they will accurately tell you what stage of production you are in.

Call this number. It's for order statuses of Dell Canada products. (It's not automated, however, you talk to a Dell Rep.) 1-800-847-4096
Press 1 for English, then 2 for customer care. Press 1 again to speak with a representative to find out your order status.Last edited by SmoothTofu; 4th August 2007 at 01:34 PM.

Just an update... I just called that number and all the rep can tell me is that it's in production. She couldn't tell me which stage of production.
