Also this thread:

is quite informative. No idea how I missed those thus far.

Re: M6600 Owner's Review - Warning - Large pics - Personal Opinions
Just wanted to add on an update to this review.
As of Nov 11, I am trying to procure either an IPS panel to install on my M6600 or another M6600 with an IPS panel. If either happens, I will update this review to include information on all 3 available screens.
I have also filled in many of the "to be added" sections of the review. There are still a few things I need to test.M6700 - i7-3920XM / Nvidia K5000M / IPS

That will be great Bokeh. I am torn between sending my crashing M6500 Covet to the Depot, or replacing it w/ a M6600 with the IPS...

Re: M6600 Owner's Review - Warning - Large pics - Personal Opinions
I am going to have to see what I can do. Right now I know that I will need at least 2 parts to add it on to an existing M6600:
312-1305 is RGB LCD Cover
320-2919 is RGB Back-Lit IPS Panel
The cost of those 2 parts without any kind of discount is $770 + tax and shipping. Since I don't know if that is all I would need, I am not going to order them yet. I am still not 100% sure that the M6600 uses the same motherboard for all displays. I think it does, but there is always that little bit of doubt to get rid of.
Right now it looks like the cheapest way to buy an IPS panel is to buy it with the machine.M6700 - i7-3920XM / Nvidia K5000M / IPS

@ronthedon
Thanks for the info. I asked on another forum about the 128Gb mSATA Dell installs and it seems that it works OK as long as you follow some procedure for installing 2 operative systems (not my case). Cheers

Some of us would be in your debt
, if you made comment on whether the problem with M4600 IPS Screen Corner Tint is present in your IPS display.

@Valm: thanks A LOT For this update. Very helpful as I haven't been able to find much else. Are you able to give me a link to that forum as I am going to have two OS as well.
