If I overclock my GPU but the temp is fine (tops 75 deg when streched) is it safe?

    That's great.
I do not know why there is no interest to unlock the Bios.It has been done on the M18X.

But I don't know how to get access to "temp" folder during flashing (then bios.exe is extracting). After flashing system is restarted automaticly and temp folder is cleaned.

    I found another solution here:

oh it's the same guy that unlocked the M17xR3 bios (used it on my m17xR3).

They already released the A09 Bios for m6600 !
I'd love to see my 2960XM in action, hehe

    edit : dmn i can't extract the m6600A09.exe ! can't find it in the temp's folder
edit 2 : i got "error: invalid command line" when i try to use CMD and type in "m6600a09.exe /Writehdrfile" or "m6600a09.exe /writeromfile"

I am confident that sooner or later this will be achieved.
By the way how did you manage to get your nvidia card?

I cannot wait for this to happen. I'm getting one once the supply stabilizes. Will any of the OEM cards have warranty. That's the only downside I can see.

    devillucifer,
    1. Where did you buy gtx580m, must be Clevo card for this mod?
    2. How is it recognized by M6600 (in BIOS)? as 'unknow' card?
    3. What are Your OC clocks? and 3DMark11 score after flashing to 675m?

    Thx for info.

1>No, it's a dell vendor card ! the one from m18x... and there's no mod! just exchange the bracket and apply good amount of thermal pads then you're good to go.
2>Yes as unknow card in bios and working perfectly in windows the temp is really good, just adjust the P1 Clock the same to P2 Clock and =>> No Throttle or what so ever.. i posted it sometime ago in this thread

3>I'm running 800Core@1800memory on 0.92Vol vbios mod, and 750core@1700memory on 0.87Vol vbios mod... the performance is the same on my m17xR3 about 4k in 3dmark11 (OCed) in game i get pretty good fps much better than quadro 3000m and quadro 4000m ! haven't try 5010m.. wish i have a chance to test it.
