Check your video driver, but you probably need to reinstall the OS (preferably upgrade to Windows 7 as well).

here you go now you can enjoy that 2 yrs of warranty

    step 1: click on link

    Ownership-Tag Transfer | Dell

step 2: enter BOTH service tag number AND express number *very important that you enter both* look at bottom of the laptop

step3: enter "no information" into the areas that required (last name, first name, zip code)

    step4: enter your information.

step5: submit! and baamm it is transferred in the next web page with the comfirmation.

then give it 3 days or so, call dell and have it unlocked

this method works everytime for me, i have done it with 3 laptops. all e6410's

once they accept the transfer, then yes you can get warranty repair done.

all my transfers have been approved instantly, but i guess its different for every laptop.

Could someone please test 10-20 resumes while on batteries from S3 sleep on your laptop and report back?

There seems to be a BIOS bug that Dell has not yet fixed as referenced in these threads:

I've gotten that a couple of times intermittently. Usually resume from sleep on battery is fine.

When I do get issues though, it's usually in clusters (e.g 3 resumes in a row will fail, then maybe 40 good resumes, and then maybe 2-3 bad resumes, etc.)

I have had to disable speedstep to keep my Laptop from failing to wakeup.

The issue is as exactly as below:

In regards to the transfer, it's not 15 days, it's 30 BUSINESS days. I've had about three systems that I transferred into my name, and in each case, nothing was active and Dell refused to do anything for me until a full 30 business days have passed. (Meaning I called after 30 normal days and it wasn't long enough). Don't be surprised if you call prior to 30 days and they give you hell.
