Default studio 1555 overheat + warranty question

hi, had my s1555 for about half a year and didnt have much problems with it hardware wise. but recently, after the weather started getting hotter, i noticed my internal temperatures are getting quite high, using hardware moniter, expecially the gpu, which goes up to around 80s fast.

looking at hardware moniter, it seems the gpu heats up really fast but seems to cool quite fast too, like it would jup 3 degrees at a time when in a game.

i didnt pay much attention to it until i was in the middle of a game (warcraft 3, not even a 3d intensive game) and my comp shut down by itself, most likely due to gpu overheating.

i tried to open the case to check for dust, but because of the stupid design on teh 1555, i only opened the back panel, which shows the hard drive, ram and cmos battery. i couldnt see any dust there (not surprisingly). so im wondering what shud i do next.

also i checked my warranty and it says i ahve PLUS TECHNICAL PHONE SUPPORT, NBD (Next Business Day on-site) and POW (Parts only Warranty). does this cover technicians coming to my place and replacing the gpu and thermal pads?

I'd call in Dell and ask them to come clean it out if you aren't that good with opening laptops

I replied. "Free beer" he whispered back to me.

is it difficult of risky to replace the thermal paste on my gpu to arctic silver?
