    Please people!

I bought in Dell Inspiron 1535 and once I installed XP. However, there is a very bad sound. I read a lot of information (upgrade Bios and instal newest audio drivers, change wireless settings...), but I want to know whether this can be corrected? How?

I look forward to a response! Thanks about information!

    Default Sound ...

Have anybody problem with sound ? I mean everything is ok, but the sound is realy bad. Sound is without bass,i mean not "full" spectrum and etc. I waste a lot of time with setting up EQ, but still it`s very poor. In vista was realy god sound.

The initial review of this laptop (with Vista) stated that the speakers were kinda weak, not as full-range as the systems that came with an in-case subwoofer. For my part (Studio 17, XP SP3 installed) the sound is acceptable, but the speakers clip pretty hard if the bass is heavy.

I mean the sound quality outgoing from soundcard, not quality from built in speakers, or etc. Sound (signal) is bad on everything, studio monitors, headphones, etc.

    Hi,

I just followed all the drivers and stuff that was posted in the earlier pages for the dell studio 15. The only thing I'm missing is the microphone software and the audio drivers I installed the speakers do this weird crackle thing every few minutes. Otherwise I'm back on good ol XP!
