Re: FS: Core 2 Duo - P8700, 2.53ghz - $160 shipped or best offer
Yet most users that need or want a T7700 or T7800 are limited to the supporting chipset & the 800 fsb of these cpu's, whereas the P8700 is 1066 fsb and they cannot use such a cpu.- a processor such as the T7700 or T7800 will consume 35 watts. this will make a big difference in battery life, heat, and potential to overclock.
thanks for looking

oh, ok fine a t9400 then
lets just not go into the cache size... lol
besides, its not unlikely that laptops are being sold with the older t series processors even if they have the newer chipset, to save money.

Re: FS: Core 2 Duo - P8700, 2.53ghz - $160 shipped or best offer
My post was more of a heads up to your reference to the cpu's and to the potential buyer that does not understand about the fsb speed, hate to see someone buy it only to find out it won't work within their laptop.
btw: have you checked the prices of them T cpu's, the faster varieties such as those you listed and the T9500, they cost more in both street/retail prices. "Supply & Demand"
Nonetheless, you have a very nice shipped price.

Will this work in a G51vx that currently has a p7350? Also how long was it used, and do you know its undervolt potential? Thanks!

Thanks for the info cyber16. Don't have it yet, but thinking about buying it now and then upgrading when/if I get one
Why'd you mention the FSB spec?

in other news: ill also be selling a P9500 soon, which is almost exactly the same in one less way.
