Re: measuring cpu temp?
An alternative to NHC (which can be a little resource hungry) with a much smaller memory footprint would be something like Mobile meter it's what I use on my W3.
Check it out:

Arrived 24.05.06: Asus W3J

Re: measuring cpu temp?
i tried to use both programs NHC and mobilemeter, and both do not show me cpu temp. NHC is also saying that the acpi service is not initialized for this machine. anyone knows why and how to fix?

Re: measuring cpu temp?
I recommend to tryout SpeedFan as well... its a pretty nice freeware.
If that doesnt work, I would check your BIOS and set it to default to make sure the power management options are at normal settings.

Re: measuring cpu temp?
That is a good temp. For load, you will see anything from 60-65C. With two instances of SETI@Home running, I get a load temp of 62C.
