[BIOS] KHLB2 updating to custom bios.

Hi,

I was looking for some bios updates which would allow me to change certain things, especially eist so i can freely go for dual ida. I found one bios version which allows to change eist from bios level. My question is if my lap fail to start after updating to that bios is there a possibility that i could recover it with
'insyde bios recovery' or something like that cuz i cant really afford NOT having laptop atm.

Sorry for sounding stupid, but maybe you should ask at that other forum (too).

Other than that, I cannot help you, but say: if you cannot afford to brick your laptop, just don't do it just yet (the flashing, not the bricking, hehe)

So Ive decided to flash my compal khlb2 with that 'unlocked' bios and I'm enjoying a p8600 running as a p8700 thanks to disabled eist and with a little help of throttlestop :P
