We do not include any bloatware in our systems. You will only find the software necessary for your DVDR and other hardware components, and the OS if you order one.

Re: Compal HEL80 Geforce Go 7600 OC Results
Bloatware will only be found on machine's like ACER, ASUS, DELL, MSI, HP, Packard Bell, Gateway and Compaq.
Compal is only making drivers for the supported Hardware inside the notebook no extra software is designed.
So if any bloatware is detected this is then installed or delivered by the vendor."The one and only RePaRaQu"

Re: Compal HEL80 Geforce Go 7600 OC Results
Most people do not consider bloatware value added....rather they consider it a pain in the neck that they have to remove and then install the software THEY want...particularly since most of the time the antivirus is Norton, by Symantec, which is one of the most hated and feared programs on the market, or McAfee which falls in the same category. You won't find many powerusers that will want either one on their machines.
The true market differentiator is the one that doesn't load all that junk on their custom built laptops. It is only the Multi National Brands that load them up with bloatware, mainly because they get paid to do it.Donald@PowerNotebooks.com | Phone: 877-711-1777 - CALL US FOR NOTEBOOKREVIEW ACTIVE MEMBER DISCOUNTS

Re: Compal HEL80 Geforce Go 7600 OC Results
Overclock Core: 460 / Memory: 480
Using Riva Tunner and driver:179.13 (latest from laptopvideo2go).
3dmark05:
4052 3DMarks
5671 CPUMarks
If i push core more than or equal to 480, it seems to work fine but after 2min, more or less, the screen frozens and the driver resets, so i think this is the best oc for me.
My laptop is a compal hel80 with nvidia geforce go 7600.
Default values: 350/350.
Thats all. :P

Re: Compal HEL80 Geforce Go 7600 OC Results
My overclocking options only allow me to go up to 400MHz core!! whats the deal?
The highest I can clock to without the "test settings" control panel telling me to lower the freq is 400/437Last edited by resonant freq; 6th February 2009 at 05:32 PM. Reason: adding to

Re: Compal HEL80 Geforce Go 7600 OC Results
hello
i have a question about oc-ing the 7600go
when you oc the gpu to f.e. 400mhz will it only have the 400mhz in 3d full performence mode and will it clock down to re the regular 200mhz in 2d mode,
or is it alway gonna run an the 400mhz? wont this cause thermal problems?

Re: Compal HEL80 Geforce Go 7600 OC Results
Kost, the overclocking stays on all the time unless you turn it off. But it doesn't matter, the card won't overheat.
