Annnd, what everyone's been waiting for, some pics!
IFL90

IFL91 (the integrated version I guess..)

IFT00

IFT01

it should be noted that sometimes, its not final. Last year for example, the HEL80 that was displayed in Taiwan, ended up being very different from what you see now.PC notebooks with Thunderbolt Port:

There's going to be a VBI-version of the laptops. http://downloadfinder.intel.com/ lists the new Compal laptops, although it doesn't have any downloads yet.
Goren, do you have any pictures of wht the Compal HEL-80 looked like at first?

i forgot where I found the first HEL80 pic unfortunately.
these new models seem to be quite different from the last.. totally different port lay outs on the left side. bottom of the screen on both seem to curve inwards compared to the flat designs of the last two models.PC notebooks with Thunderbolt Port:

I see they still have the ice-blue/fire-orange LED scheme going. Nice.

The power cable has to be plugged in to the right now. Quite stupid if you ask me.

Re: Preliminary Info on NEW Compal IFL90 / IFL91 / IFT01 / IFT00
these machines are still very likely to change in design if I understand correctly these are only designer models to show off the possible outcome of the venture between the availability of intels new chips and the compal engineers.
more to come is something I'd definetly say is to be expected - just look at how fast the IT market moves, if these are only test/view models, there is a lot that might change between they actually hit the local shelves at tesco round the corner.
cheers,

Re: Preliminary Info on NEW Compal IFL90 / IFL91 / IFT01 / IFT00
Yes, it is a DX10 card.
I like these much better than the current Compals, which are quite ugly IMO (the HGL30 especially)rMBP15 | Adamo | W3J | W7Sg | Many More...
