Default Does the screen resolution change depending on Glossy or matte screen?

I was just watching a review on the Asus G55VW and the person reviewing it said and showed that the highest resolution for a glossy screen is 780 or something like that, but if you get the matte, then it's 1080. It that true?

    Thanks!

Do you have the reveiw link?

According to our test, Asus G55VW has 1920 x 1080 resolution for Full HD LED. 1366 x 768 resolution is for HD LED screen. I never hear Asus G55VW has such a low resolution screen.

Glossy screen is an extra glass adding on the screen to rich the color and widen the viewing angels. But some gamers prefer matte screen, so they will not see the reflection like glossy one.
