sony vs Asus(z96j)?

My boss prefers Sony notebooks, I prefer Z96j for working outside our lab.
Please give some facts or something else so that I could persuade my boss from buying sony.

The risks is that if your boss does buy the z96j and hates it then guess who he's gonna blame? This is exemplified by the fact that he already has a bias towards sony laptops... so if anything goes wrong, he'll just get pissed at you. Maybe 3 year later, the z96j may break down and guess who he's still gonna blame? (he'll probably say something about sony quality...)

Besides, what do you have to gain if you do pursuede him?

Unless your able to get your boss to see a demo of an Asus notebook and find out that the desktop has Asus components in it(not that im saying anything lol)

Dont convice him! But if you really want to - tell him Asus make Sony and apple laptops so he technically buying an Asus.
