    Heat issues can be related to the thinness of the notebook. Even with multiple heatsinks and moderate CPU/GPU temperatures, the surface/bottom of a notebook can get uncomfortably warm. It may not be a concern with the Gigabyte P2542G though, since the heatsinks appear to large.

    the G series, but those things are huge...not sure about the other ones, but they should have ultrabooks with dedicated GPU right?

    They can't do that because the GTX line of graphics cards go into their gaming laptops. Also, they can't really put a really high end, GTX, card into a thin laptop because it will cause too much heat, which is why gaming laptops are so thick and bulky.

    the Gigabyte P2542G looks a lot thinner than the asus n56. It has a gtx660.
