Asus N56 looks like twice as thick.
lol the asus looks twice as thick but it isnt its actually about the same size i think. its just the tapered look the gig has. and apparently the gig has a good cooling system so shouldnt be a problem

there are no official releases or leaks however some forumers found info in specs or something. the thread is here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-e...7750m-1gb.html

Even though its about the 15, the 17 should be about the same, only difference might be a stronger gpu and/or two hdd slots instead of one

dont think it matters too much how thin or thick, the gigabyte one has 2 seperate fans (ie two heat sink) and two vents for cooling, i doubt heat will be a major issue. also, this design is almost same as the P2532, if the design didnt work, then obviously they would have went for a different one. but they stayed with same design, so obviously its a good design!

lol im not saying anything about the cooling. im just saying the asus is equal to or less bulkier than the gig i believe. But I get why the gig would be a tad bigger: better cooling

i think for those who thinks asus will use ddr3 vram on n56vz gt650m. i think it is still rumours. but asus won't lose to hp easily. since hp already got bad reputation. and some says it was almost faced to bankruptcy. so i think asus should be more competitive in giving specs. if i can says. hehe

Asus has always used the worst version of the Nvidia cards

It used the 9650m DDR2 (instead GDDR3) on the M50Vm, and they have used the DDR3 version of the 555m in the N55 instead the GDDR5 version, so, sadly, there are not many reasons to think they will use the GDDR5 version of the 650m

Is not rumors, they are already being seeling in some websites, or at least pre-order like this one. Open "Produktinformation" (third tab above the image) and you can see for youself.
    Google Tradutor

I donīt know why but i can't put the direct link, so you should open ASUS N56VZ S4026V first

But maybe they will make some models with ddr5, i really doubt, but itīs possible.

Oh, i donīt know that. But i'm seeing some of the older models now, and the reviews saying the cool system of gigabyte works very well, so good news for gygabite
