Normally if the time is not correct replacement of the CMOS battery will solve this.

alright mate.... i have the the exact same laptop and the exact same problem.
    however caused differently.
i placed a password on my bios and it simply wont let me back in even though im 100% about what my password is.
anyway i tried removing the battery for a day and this did reset my bios.. time date etc but not the password.
thats how i ended up with a 2009 date and no way to change it back.
anyway i then tried endless bois flash applications etc and got nowhere.
finally i got in contact with asus and they requested and receipt of purchais, laptop serial number and exact system date.
i supplied all this and they responded with what the default password should be.
but it didnt work so am stuck.
windows 7 thinks it is 2009, and have to set the time each logon... Annoying.
so is there anything else that i can try please... its massively annoying me now.

I am having trouble following the first post because there is no punctuation or sentences.

You can try reflashing your BIOS (with a different or previous version) using winflash with the /nodate option. See: http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus...notebooks.html
