    Default N51vn update BIOS 217 to 219

My computer has very little problems though I just want to know if it is worth the risks to update the BIOS.

    The N51VN-A1:
    T9600|GT 240m@330m|4GB DDR2|64GB + 320GB@7200 / 22"@1080p
    3Dmark06 6224
    Pcmark Vantage 6674
    3Dmark Vantage P2498
    Next Notebook:
    8+ cores at 4+ GHZ | 5120+ shader ATI GPU | Quad SSD's. 3Dmark11E ~12000 PCMark 7D ~14000 Crysis 3.5 at 61fps
(unless the cloud destroys the PC market)

Please make sure to read http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus...notebooks.html

    The changelog for 219 is:
    BIOS 219
Fix adjusted brightness (Fn+F5/Fn+F6) at minimum or maximum level OSD will not show.
    http://support.asus.com/Download.asp...51vn&p=3&os=30

If you don't notice this problem, it is not worth the upgrade.

You can downgrade the bios using aflash or winflash, but not easy flash. See: http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus...notebooks.html

I know but I don't want to since it solved other problems besides for just brightness.
